If you would like to organize a group to have expert training given to you please contact NEFN with the details.  All of the classes are FREE to the community and can be given to groups as small as 20 people.  All you have to do is get together and decide which class you would like to hear. You can provided the venue or we can find one for you.

  • I don't like to talk about it! - Talking to your kid is essential to proper mental health and good parenting.  Keeping up with the current trends, terms and just being "hip" enough to talk to your children is overwhelming.  Most take a back seat because it is easier.  Learn what to say, how to approach and what to talk about.
  • Parent Awareness-  This class is designed to help parents identify the signs of Drug Abuse and Use among young adults.  The class explains the physical, behavior, and "tall tale" signs of drug use.  It is designed to give knowledge to parents and help combat drug abuse among our children.
  • Common Paraphernalia - This class uncovers many common types of drug paraphernalia.  It explains what to look for and just how easy it is to obtain the paraphernalia.  This eye opening class will expose how drug use is right "under your nose".
  • Drug & Paraphernalia Dangers  - This class is for employees and protection from the discovery of Drugs or Paraphernalia.  This class is designed to limit liability through education.  Housekeeping, restroom attendants, night clubs, bar tenders, security, etc...
  • Drugs Impact Everyone-  Drugs really do impact everyone in the community.  Even if you don't use drugs you are affected.  This class explains how each part of our community is impacted and changed by drugs. "PG13"
  • Victims in Nevada  - Drugs create victims. This class is designed to discuss the many victims drug use and abuse create.  This is a modified Drugs Impact Everyone Program and is "G" rated.
  • Meth 360  - Help people in your community understand the dangers of meth and motivate them to take action.  The audience learns about all aspects of meth from experts with diverse perspectives on the issue-and gains a true "360-degree" view of the impact of meth on the community.
  • The Truth of Marijuana  - Recently new developments in THC and marijuana laws have persuaded the minds of society.  Keep in touch with the "facts".  Do not let the government and pro-marijuana groups give you any misinformation.  Know what marijuana is all about.
  • Marijuana Laws in Nevada  - The Marijuana Laws in Nevada have changed.  Possession amounts, Medical Marijuana and Prescribed Marijuana are key issues within the state.  Keep abreast with the information now available about Marijuana.
  • Drug Identification  - Know how to identify common street drugs and their effects on people.  Recognize signs at the workplace and know how to help others with the problem of addiction and use.
  • Drug Spotlight Classes - Individual classes or segments that cover a specific drug concern you may have.  Heroin, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, PCP, LSD etc...
  • Prescription Drugs  - The fastest growing drug problem in Nevada.  Become familiar with epidemic and why the problem is so significant in Nevada.
  • Club Drugs - This 24 hour town is full of trends, clubs and drugs.  Be able to identify some of the trends and problems associated with Club and Trendy Drugs.
  • UICS Responder Course - There are many dangers associated with individuals under the influence of a controlled substance.  This course is designed to identify, react and save lives from the dangers associated with others under the influence.
  • Gang Nexus  - Become informed on the local Clark County gangs and how they use Drugs to continue their enterprise.  Gangs and drugs work hand and hand. Criminal Gangs use Drugs to operate.  Know how to identify gangs and drugs they sell.
  • How can I make a difference? -  This introductory class is designed to teach all the methods spreading the word of drug education.  It explores how to make a difference in your community.  It provides a list of resources to pull from to accomplish your goal.
  • NEFN Instructor Class-  How do I become a NEFN instructor and provide continued training in my community?  This class covers legal issues, training methods and material needed to train for NEFN.
